El peaje Las Vega ubicado en la Autopista Aconcagua en la comuna de Llay Llay, que en el último ha tenido una relación bastante “traumática” con la vecindad de las provincias de San Felipe y Los Andes, vuelve al epicentro de la discordia luego que la concesionaria este lunes publicó un alza de las tarifas que empezaran aplicarse el 2020.
En ese contexto la Sociedad Concesionaria Autopista del Aconcagua S.A. en su publicación en la prensa escrita nacional de la estructura tarifaria que regirá a contar de las 00:00 horas del día 01 de febrero del 2020 hasta el 31 de diciembre del mismo año, en el tramo Santiago – Los Vilos en la Ruta 5 Norte, precisando que el cobro en la plaza de peaje Las Vegas subirá su tarifa en casi un 30 por ciento, pasando el valor para autos, camionetas y vehículos station Wagon con uno o más ejes adicionales de $2.100 a $2.700 pesos.
Mientras que las tarifas para camiones y buses de dos ejes, maquinaria agrícola, de construcción y camionetas de doble rueda trasera; el valor del peaje aumentará en $1.000 pesos, pasando de $3.800 a $4.800 pesos. La tarifa para camiones y buses de más de dos ejes, el alza será de $1.800 pesos, subiendo de $6.700 pesos a $8.600 pesos. En tanto, el valor del peaje para motos aumentará en $200 pesos, quedando a contar del 1 de febrero en $800 pesos.
PROTESTA EL 2018 POR ALZA DE 700 PESOS
Como se recuerda el peaje Las Vegas, a mediados del año 2018, estuvo en el epicentro de la polémica luego que la concesionaria sorpresivamente subió el valor en 700 pesos, lo que originó el descontento generalizado de los aconcagüinos que no demoraron en expresar su rechazo. Esto llevo a que espontáneamente, los vecinos se organizaran y comenzaran una campaña ante la desmesurada alza del peaje.
Movimiento que derivó en que los vecinos se manifestaron protestando en la misma plaza de peaje y toma de la Ruta 5, lo que obligó a las autoridades políticas como el Intendente Regional Jorge Martínez y el ex Subsecretario de Obras Públicas, Lucas Palacios, a comprometerse a gestionar ante la concesionaria revertir el alza, cosa que se hizo efectiva en noviembre del 2018.
